Terms of Service
Pre-launch draft. These terms are being finalized before launch and are pending review. Items in [brackets] — our legal entity and governing law — will be completed by ZagCal before going live.
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of ZagCal, operated by [ZagCal legal entity]. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. The service
ZagCal synchronizes busy/free availability across your connected calendars and provides Calendly-style booking pages. We read only busy/free information and write generic busy placeholders; we describe this in detail on our security & privacy page.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't connect calendars or accounts you aren't authorized to use.
- Don't attempt to breach, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Don't use ZagCal to violate the terms of your calendar providers or any applicable law.
5. Subscriptions and billing
ZagCal offers a free tier and paid Team plans. Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis. You can cancel any time from the in-app billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain paid features until then. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Your calendars and content
You retain all rights to your calendars and data. You grant ZagCal only the access necessary to provide the service, and you can revoke it at any time by disconnecting a calendar or deleting your account.
7. Third-party services
ZagCal integrates with third-party providers (Google, Microsoft, Apple, Stripe). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and their availability is outside our control.
8. Disclaimers
ZagCal is provided "as is". We work hard to keep availability accurate and in sync, but we don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You're responsible for confirming critical commitments.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZagCal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or missed events arising from use of the service.
10. Termination
You may stop using ZagCal and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we must act on for legal or security reasons.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; we'll post changes here and update the effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction — to be confirmed]. Questions: support@zagcal.com.
