Privacy-first calendar sync

Your calendar says Lunch with Dana. Everyone else just sees Busy.

Stay in sync across every calendar and organization without ever oversharing. By default, others see only that you're busy — but you choose what crosses over: a custom label and color per sync, or opt into full detail.

Works with Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, and Apple iCloud.

Private by default · Custom labels & colors · Opt-in full detail · Export anytime

How ZagCal mirrors a booking: a "Lunch with Dana" event on your personal calendar appears on your other calendars only as a generic "Busy" block by default — or a custom label like "Work", in a color you pick. Your event details never cross over unless you switch on full-detail mode.

Why ZagCal

One real view of your availability — kept private.

Stop cross-checking calendars and stop oversharing what's on them. ZagCal does one thing well: it keeps your free/busy in sync everywhere, sharing only what you choose.

01

One unified availability

Book a slot on any calendar and ZagCal blocks it on the rest as a generic "Busy" — automatically, so you're never double-booked.

02

Private by default, your call

By default only busy/free crosses between calendars — titles, guests, and locations stay put. Customize the label and color per sync, or opt into full detail when you want.

03

Built for multiple orgs

Keep work, a side gig, and personal life in sync without leaking between them — strict isolation between every organization you belong to.

04

Share a booking page

Let people book real openings on a personal link — with buffers, blackout dates, and daily limits, all from your true availability.

How it works

Connected in minutes.

Step 01

Connect your calendars

Link Google, Microsoft 365, and Apple iCloud with read access to free/busy.

Step 02

Choose what syncs

Pick which calendars mirror to which, and in which direction. You're in control.

Step 03

Stop double-booking

ZagCal keeps everything in sync from then on — quietly, as a generic busy block.

Privacy

You just watched it above. Here's exactly what crosses.

Most sync tools copy your whole event across. ZagCal copies only the one thing that prevents a double-booking — that you're busy — and leaves the rest to you.

  • By default we read and write busy/free only — titles, guests, notes, and locations stay put.
  • Mirrored events show as a generic "Busy" block — or a custom label and color you set, per sync.
  • Want titles to carry between your own calendars? Full-detail mode is opt-in, per sync, with a confirmation.
  • Access tokens are encrypted at rest, and strict isolation keeps every organization separate.
